EDTMPS is a nitrogen-containing organic polyphosphonic acid, a cathodic corrosion inhibitor. Compared with inorganic polyphosphates, its corrosion inhibition rate is 3 to 5 times higher. It is miscible with water, non-toxic and non-polluting, has good chemical stability and temperature resistance, and still has a good scale inhibition effect at 200°C. EDTMPS can dissociate into 8 positive and negative ions in aqueous solution, so it can chelate with multiple metal ions to form multiple monomer structure macromolecular network complexes, which are loosely dispersed in water, destroying the normal crystallization of calcium scale. EDTMPS has a good scale inhibition effect on calcium sulfate and barium sulfate scale.
EDTMPS is used as a corrosion and scale inhibitor for circulating water and boiler water, a chelating agent for cyanide-free electroplating, a chelating agent in the textile printing and dyeing industry, and an oxygen bleaching stabilizer.

When added alone in circulating cooling water, the general dosage is 2-10 mg/L. After EDTMPS and HPMA are mixed in a ratio of 1:3, they can be used for low-pressure boiler water treatment. EDTMPS can also be used in combination with BTA, PAAS, zinc salts, etc.
EDTMPS is packed in plastic barrels, 25kg per barrel or as required by the user. Store in a cool place indoors, storage period is six months.
EDTMPS is neutral. Pay attention to labor protection during operation and avoid contact with skin, eyes, etc. After contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water.
