1. Performance and use:

DTPMPA is non-toxic and easily soluble in acidic solutions. It has excellent scale and corrosion inhibition effects and good temperature resistance. It can inhibit the formation of carbonate and sulfate scales. In alkaline environments and high temperatures (above 210°C), its scale and corrosion inhibition performance is better than other organic phosphites. DTPMPA is used as a scale and corrosion inhibitor for circulating cooling water and boiler water in water treatment. It is particularly suitable for alkaline circulating cooling water as a scale and corrosion inhibitor without pH adjustment. It can also be used as a scale and corrosion inhibitor for oil field injection water, cooling water, and boiler water containing high barium carbonate. When this product is used alone in a compound agent, there is no need to add a dispersant, and the amount of scale deposition is still very small.


DTPMPA can also be used as a peroxide stabilizer (especially hydrogen peroxide has a good stabilization effect under high temperature conditions), a chelating agent for textile printing and dyeing, a dispersant for pigments, an oxygen delignification stabilizer, a trace element carrier in fertilizers, and a concrete additive. In addition, it has also been widely used in papermaking, electroplating, metal pickling, and cosmetics. It can also be used as a stabilizer for oxidizing fungicides.

3. Usage

DTPMPA is generally used at a concentration of 1-30 mg/L as a scale inhibitor and 1000-2000 mg/L as a cleaning agent. It is usually used in combination with polycarboxylic acid scale inhibitors and dispersants. When used in other industries, the dosage should be determined based on tests.

4. Packaging and storage

DTPMPA is packed in plastic barrels, 30kg per barrel or as required by the user. Stored in a cool place indoors, the storage period is twelve months.

5. Safety protection

DTPMPA is acidic. Pay attention to labor protection when operating it. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Rinse with plenty of water after contact.
