Physical and chemical properties: light yellow granules, light yellow powder, relative density 2.44 (25℃), apparent density 1.23, melting point 190℃ (0.25Mpa), melting point 177.8℃, easily soluble in water, ethanol, chloroform, carbon tetrachloride, ether. Slightly soluble in benzene, strong water absorption, very easy to deliquesce, easy to absorb water and hydrolyze to produce hydrogen chloride when exposed to air, heat will occur and cause explosion when in contact with water, highly corrosive.
Product use: used as catalyst for organic synthesis, metal smelting, lubricant synthesis, food-grade products as leavening agent, sun-clearing and anti-discoloration agent and pectin flocculant, etc., can also be used for sewage treatment.
1) Used as a water purifier, mainly used for the purification of drinking water and the treatment of industrial wastewater;
2) Used as an oxidant and mordant in the dye industry;
3) Used as a catalyst and oxidant in the organic synthesis industry;
4) Used as an etchant for photography, circuit boards, copper plates and copper characters
5) Used as a raw material for the manufacture of iron salts, pigments, inks, and medicines;
6) Used as a chlorination leaching agent in silver and copper mines
7) Adding a small amount of ferric chloride solution to building concrete can increase the strength of its components and prevent water seepage.
