Application:

It is used to manufacture indigo and other dyes, and to produce monochloroacetic acid. It is an important industrial solvent and is used as a metal detergent, dry cleaning agent, agricultural pesticide, etc.; it is used as a non-flammable solvent and analytical reagent. It is used as an extraction solvent. Mainly used for decaffeination of coffee.
