1. Potassium fluoroborate is used as a flux for welding, as well as in the metallurgical industry and in the production of boron trifluoride and other fluorine salt raw materials
2. Used as abrasive for thermosetting resin grinding wheels, raw materials for boron containing alloys, fluxes for hot welding and copper welding, and also as a component of low chromium anhydride chromium plating and lead-tin alloy electrolyte
3. Used as a flux for hot welding and copper welding, as a raw material for aluminum magnesium casting to produce boron containing alloys, and as a filler material in heavy-duty grinding wheels using resin as abrasive adhesive. When melting and fusing silver, gold, and stainless steel, it can remove the residue of light metals.
It is a raw material for producing boron trifluoride and other fluoride salts. Also used in electrochemical processes and reagents.
